1. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk By purchasing a ticket to the Puff • Drink • Talk • Network event, I acknowledge that my participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Consumption of alcoholic beverages Potential slips, trips, and falls Operating a vehicle after the event Accidents related to the warehouse environment and heavy equipment I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in this event.
2. Release of Liability I hereby release, waive, and discharge the event organizers, sponsors, and venue owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while participating in the event.
3. Alcohol Consumption and Responsible Behavior I understand that the consumption of alcohol is optional and that I am responsible for my own actions. I agree not to operate a vehicle while impaired and will make appropriate transportation arrangements if necessary.
4. Indemnification I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and venue owners from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including attorney fees, that they may incur due to my actions during or after the event.
5. Medical Treatment I authorize the event organizers to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
6. Governing Law This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
7. Acknowledgment of Understanding I have read this waiver and fully understand its terms. By purchasing a ticket, I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
